dns, a key player in the managed security services industry, has announced that it has won a contract to provide Wolfson Microelectronics, a global leader in the supply of mixed-signal semiconductors to the consumer electronics market, with its Managed Security Services (MSS). Wolfson Microelectronics is involved in designing-in components for many of the latest in consumer mobile devices.
The deal will see the UK based security provider manage Wolfson Microelectronic’s firewalls as well as providing a number of other professional security solutions. Deployments have been rolled out at 11 sites, with a total of 22 devices at bases in multiple locations, throughout Asia, the US and Europe.
The nature of Wolfson Microelectronics’ business means that it is crucial all VPN links are available 24x7 and that sensitive information is kept secure.
