Building on its successful relationship with Cisco dns has been awarded Small to Medium Business (SMB) Select Partner Status in the UK. A key factor in achieving the new partner status was the level of Cisco technology expertise that dns holds amongst its account managers, consultants and dnsMSS team, as well as its vast experience in small and medium sized businesses.
dns is currently a Cisco Premier Partner with key specialisations in VPN security and Wireless LAN security. The SMB Select Partner status is awarded to organisations with a high level of expertise in Cisco networking technologies and to organisations with a strong track record of providing SMBs with leading information technology solutions.
The new partner status will open up extra training and resources for dns staff to ensure that dns effectively meets the continually changing needs of the SMB market.
John Shaw, Scotland Channel Manager at Cisco said, “The SMB market represents a tremendous growth opportunity for both Cisco and dns. SMB Select Partner status is an outstanding accomplishment for dns and demonstrates its desire to develop expertise in the new world of complex networking technologies. dns and the Cisco account management team will continue working together to develop and enhance its mutual capabilities to support dns and its customers.”
Richard Lewis, Sales & Marketing Director at dns said, “At dns our core competence is information security knowledge and expertise; on top of our professional services team designing and installing Cisco network security solutions, our dnsMSS team manage Cisco technologies on a 24/7 basis for our MSS clients so it is vital they have a high level of expertise. The Cisco partnership will continue to play a key part in offering our customers the best possible security solutions.”
