dns, the UK’s largest independent managed services security expert, today announced that it has been included in Gartner’s ‘MarketScope for Managed Security Services in Europe’ report.
dns is growing at three times the market rate, compared with the average for the European market, and is the only UK-based organisation included in the report that has a sole focus on security.
Graeme Cox, CEO, dns, commented: “In my opinion, to be included in Gartner’s report represents a real milestone for dns and clearly demonstrates that we are an established player in the MSSP market. I believe our success is due to the maturity of the managed security services market as a whole, but also because we have a sole focus on security and an unrivalled commitment to our customers. There are lots of companies currently offering security managed services as part of a wider telecoms and IT integration offering, but very few are pure-play security specialists, so this puts us in a unique position to respond to whatever our clients require across the whole security spectrum.
“Increasing numbers of organisations are outsourcing the day-to-day management and monitoring of IT security and, as result of our rapid growth, we now hold contracts to manage more than 1,250 devices around the world. Many companies are now enhancing their security posture while reducing their overall IT spend through an MSSP, and our customers know that they can completely trust us because we have a range of experience and expertise gained from exclusively focussing on information security for many years and are fully covered by standards such as ISO27001.”
