This solution uses mini-tokens to provide one-time passwords for strong authentication based on two variables; time and events.

The service allows client equipment to pass authentication requests directly to the SecureWorks Secure Operations Centre which manages hundreds of security devices across the globe. The SecureWorks team then provides full life-cycle management of the authentication system to agreed SLAs, including: user registration and deregistration, token deployment and initialisation, user support and token recovery.

SecureWorks also provides 24/7 health monitoring of associated infrastructure and fix on fail. The service uses RADIUS authentication protocol and supports a wide range of VPN hub systems including:

• Juniper SSL-VPN systems
• Cisco ACS systems
• Checkpoint firewalls
• Cisco firewalls
• Microsoft IIS web services
• Microsoft ISA proxy servers
• Bluecoat proxy servers
• LDAP-connectable services

A day to day token management web portal is provided for regular tasks and key reporting is provided through the SecureWorks reporting Dashboard. The Dashboard provides a one stop, online information point for clients to check on the status of their managed security services 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
