Computer forensics is the generic name that we use for the analysis and reporting on our findings from the forensic analysis of all computer or digital-related media. This not only includes PC / Laptop or Server hard drives but also other storage devices such as USB drives, MP3 players, memory cards, SIMS and data gathered via network analysis.

All types of operating systems can be analysed, from Microsoft Windows-based, through to MAC, UNIX variants, and those utilising more obscure systems. If the data is stored electronically, then we can forensically analyse it (with the exception of magnetic tapes).

All investigations are undertaken utilising industry accepted tools and proven forensic methods and techniques. Whilst the preference is to carry out all investigations within our secure area at SecureWorks, we also have the facility to undertake covert or on-site reviews.

Our computer forensic team has handled cases involving:

  • Drug Dealing
  • Internet Misuse
  • Pornography in the Workplace
  • Rape
  • Illegal Downloads
  • IP Theft
  • Paedophilia
  • Murder
  • Virus / Malware infection
  • Fraud
  • Email Analysis
  • Data Recovery
  • Contract Negotiations
  • e-Discovery
  • Peer-Peer activities
  • Spyware analysis
  • Spoofed and threatening emails
  • Document tracking

Our team understands the often urgent and sensitive nature of cases requiring forensic analyses and as such we operate under a strict regime of control, compliant to the Association of Chief Police Officers guidance.

All reports issued are in a form suitable for submission to Courts of Law or tribunals.
